The
Avicenna School is sponsored by the College of Accounting and Management
Sciences (CAMS). The Avicenna School is registered with the University
of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) as an external school.
Continuing the traditional academic strengths and resources of CAMS and
with a talented and dedicated team of faculty the Avicenna School aims
to achieve academic and professional excellence offering a highly challenging
A' Levels program.

Avicenna A Levels
Tahira
Malik joined Avicenna A-level as a Principal in the summer of 2007. She
has over 15 years of teaching and administrative experience and has worked
in the Karachi American School before taking on her assignment at Avicenna.
She possesses a BA degree from Saint Joseph's College with a diploma in
Montessori Training from AMI, a certificate in Masters Teachers Programme,
and Team Teaching Course from TRC. |

A Level Offers:
The
Avicenna A Level offers a choice of broadest courses, Students can select
from 17 subjects in different combinations. This diverse course offering
is only available at The Avicenna School. The Avicenna has one of the largest
and diverse student bodies for A Level in Pakistan. Most of the students
graduating from Avicenna, have been admitted to prestigious institutions
such as Harvard, Yale, Purdue & Indiana University in the USA; Oxford
University, LSE, Kent & UCL in the UK and IBA, LUMS, Aga Khan University,
NUST, GIK, BCCI Fast & CAMS in Pakistan.
Accelerated
A Level
The
Avicenna A Level also offers Accelerated (one year) A Level in Accounts
,Business Management & Mathematics for those students who are eager
to seek early admission into college / university

students are required to take a minimum of three subjects in addition to
the General Paper which Mandatory. General paper is taught broaden students'
horizon A-Level studies.
Students
are required to choose a minimum of three optional subjects from the 5
groups given below.Only one subject may be selected from each group. Some
flexibility in the choice of subjects may be allowed on the recommendation
of the academic counselor.

Students are required to take a minimum of three optional subjects additional to the General Paper, which is mandatory. Students are required to choose from the following groups given below. Modules
The Avicenna School for A – Level offers Learning Modules as a part of its co – curricular activities in its Clifton Campus. The modules are optional and students are accommodated on first come first serve basis due to limited seats.
Students in the Clifton campus are required to tick any one of the following modules mentioned below,
- Photography
- Music ( Guitar / Piano)
- Drama and Theatre
At
the end of the academic session they are required to appear for final examination,
and shall be awarded certificate.
